For more than 30 years, Steve has been a steady voice of reason for his clients. He understands the complexities of wealth management and how to best articulate what it means to transition through the stages of life while supporting his clients. Steve’s tenure as a wealth management advisor has touched the lives of countless individuals and their families while supporting them in accumulating their wealth, educating their children, retiring confidently and comfortably, and effectively transferring the wealth of his clients to their families and valued organizations. His dedication to his clients recently led him to be honored as a 2021 Forbes Top Advisor* in California.

Steve’s passion for life is contagious. He brightens the lives of his clients and their families with his unwavering commitment to them and their future. His passion for life goes beyond his service to his clients, and transcends to his affinity for surfing. He has traveled extensively, in pursuit of the world’s best waves in addition to his regular weekend sessions and occasional mid-week “board meetings” at local breaks.

Steve is a Chartered SRI Counselor ® (CSRIC®), a designation he earned from the College for Financial Planning**. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Development Studies at the University of California Berkeley, where he also competed as a varsity gymnast and remains an avid supporter of the gymnastics program.

______________
*Steve received this award in 2021. The Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisor ranking,
developed by SHOOK Research, is based on in-person and telephone due diligence meetings and a ranking algorithm that includes: client retention, industry experience, review of compliance records, firm nominations; and quantitative criteria, including: assets under management and revenue generated for their firms. Portfolio performance is not a criterion due to varying client objectives and lack of audited data. Neither Forbes nor SHOOK Research receives a fee in exchange for rankings.

**Individuals who hold the CSRIC® designation have completed a course of study encompassing the history, definitions, trends, portfolio construction principles, fiduciary responsibilities, and best practices for sustainable, responsible, and impact (SRI) investing.
